I'm a female in my mid twenties living in southwestern Virginia. Last time I was weighed I was at 307 (highest weight was 312) - it's terrifying to be over 300 pounds, I never thought i'd see that on the scales.

I have hypothyroidism and am on Levoxyl 200 mcg, also have untreated pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome). My metabolism is messed up, because I had an eating disorder for years.

I am not on any particular diet plan, I am just trying to eat healthy, and am paying attention to fat grams and calories. I try to eat a small meal every three hours to raise my metabolism. I am trying to increase my fiber, protein and water intake. I need to also start a fitness plan - even if I just start out with evening walks. =)

My goal is to get back down to 155-160, which was a size 10-12 for me. I was so happy at that size. :) My current "short term goal" is to get under 300 again, I can't wait to see 299! lol
