I am 31 years old, totally blind and I live with my Mum and Stepfather. I have a very sweet tooth, and cannot walk past the college shop on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, without going in and buying something sweet. The problem is that I am borderline diabetic, and need to lose some weight to prevent diabetes setting in, and my weight is just going up.
