Hi. I'm a 47 year old divorced mother of 4. 3 are grown. I have been battling with my weight ever since I had my first child. My weight has yo-yoed up and down with me gaining more weight back each time for most of my adult life. Four years ago I finally found a way to lose the weight and keep it off. I had to come up with a diet plan that I could live with for the rest of my life. I lost 85 pounds in 9 and a half months and have kept it off ever since. I have no problem with the foods that are on my plan. They are quite adequate and satisfying, but sometimes get a little depressed due to other things going on in my life that make me tempted to stop caring for myself. (I have a difficult teenager.) That's why I came here. To help me keep motivated to take care of myself through this last year or two of my sons difficult behavior. I need to feel like I'm not the only one in the whole world who has to watch what they eat.
