This happened to me a couple of years ago after losing 40 pounds over just a few months.
I asked my dr about it who told me that most people who have the gastric bypass surgery lose so much weight and are unable to consume large amounts of food and therefore start losing their hair- it also gets brittle and splits. He told me that the bariatric surgeons recommend to their patients that they take azinc supplement every day
