A Particularly Nice Compliment

I was in to see a Respirologist, yesterday, as I had gotten a new CPAP machine for my sleep apnea and was wondering if the settings ought to be looked at, especially since I was 200 pounds when this was first set up.
The doctor, whom I hadn't met before, started by saying she was expecting to find a 63 year old man instead of me. (That was a lovely way to get this started.) When she was taking my history and details, she exclaimed that I was anything but a poster boy for apnea, as I was so thin! (and, indeed, that I had lost a lot of weight). Needless to say, she is going on my Christmas list this year.
So even though I have bounced from 172+ last week to about 175 this morning, I am just going to feel particularly self-satisfied, anyway.
