ULTIMATE GOAL: To learn how to incorporate healthy diet and exercise into my life without it being a chore.

I realized I had a weight problem when I went to buy summer clothes. I couldnt fit into my normal sizes, and in fact had went up a good 3 sizes. It made me feel terrible, but I was afraid to show that (cuz Im a guy and all...)

Ive always been very different and self conscious. Since I was little Ive always been into odd things, (ex: weird hair dye, vampires,etc.), and because of that I found out early on what it was like to be the "black sheep" or the "freak" of the class. On top of that my parents divorced because my mom cheated on my dad. Sadly, he remarried a woman who treated me lower than garbage; always has.

2007 wasnt a very good year. In the fall of 06 I started to cut myself and was bulimic. This carried on into 07. That summer I became very suicidal and was sent away to a clinic for 8 days. They found out that I am bi-polar, and put me on lithium. The whole time I was in the clinic my mother and stepdad were the only ones who came to see me. I stopped seeing my dad, and havent seen him since, and heres why. That was June of 07..In August of that same year, my dad told me in a phone conversation that he "chooses his wife over me and its not a mistake." That only added to my depression and self mutilation

Needless to say, the lithium the doctor put me on is working very well and I have since stopped cutting and purging myself. On the flipside though, the medicine has caused me to gain about 30-35 pounds in a year. Id like to lose at least 20 or so by September, and during the winter Id like to shed the extra ten to 15 pounds.

A little bit about me:

I enjoy photography and art very much so (Im a bi guy lol :P). I went to NYC with my friends last October to see the many abstract and unique art galleries in the SoHo-Chelsea area. I love anything horror (books, movies, comics, etc) as well as starbucks and sushi. Music plays a huge role in my life; I love to listen, see, and play music.
